Granular co-ownership — not all-or-nothing

Set 50/50 on the family home, 100% personal on your SIPP, 60/40 on the rental flat. Each asset, debt and recurring cash flow has its own ownership split. The partner sees only their share — yours stays yours.

Partner invite by email

Send your partner an email invitation. Once they accept, the assets and debts you marked as co-owned mirror into their account at their share automatically. No spreadsheet copy, no awkward export — and disable any time.

Household & individual view, side-by-side

Switch between “just me” and “the household” in one click. Net worth, allocation, cash flow and the Wealth Statement PDF re-aggregate to whichever lens you're on. Estate counsel sees the household side; personal financial planning stays in the individual side.

Shared, not surveilled

Partners see what you marked as theirs — and nothing else. No accidental leak of personal accounts.

Reversible by design

Disable sharing in one click. Audit log preserves the history of who saw what, when.

Couples & shared wealth — frequently asked

How do couples track net worth together in wlthy?

Each asset, debt and cash flow has an ownership percentage and an optional shared-with email. You set 50/50 on the house, 100% personal on individual retirement accounts, whatever ratio fits. Invite your partner by email — they see only their share. No more two spreadsheets and a reconciliation tab.

Does my partner see everything I own?

No — only what you explicitly marked as co-owned (or fully owned by them). Anything you keep at 100% personal stays in your account and never surfaces in theirs. The same applies in reverse: your partner's personal positions don't leak into your view.

What happens if we split the rent / mortgage / utility 60/40?

Recurring cash flows (rent, mortgage payments, utilities, subscriptions) carry their own ownership_pct. Set the split to 60/40 and the cash-flow view, the savings-rate KPI and the Wealth Statement PDF aggregate to the correct share in each person's cockpit.

Can we generate a joint Wealth Statement for estate planning?

Yes. With the household lens active, the Wealth Statement PDF renders every co-owned asset at its full market value, every personal asset at the owner's share, and total net worth as the family aggregate. The PDF carries a verified hash + QR for estate counsel, lenders and KYC.

What if we separate later — can we unwind the sharing?

Disable the partner invitation at any time from Settings → Partners. The mirrored copies disappear from their cockpit; your originals stay intact. The audit log preserves the history of when shares changed for any later reconciliation.

Is there a couples plan or do we both need subscriptions?

One subscription covers the inviter plus their invited partner — the partner doesn't need a separate plan to see the shares you sent. If the partner wants their own personal-side ledger (assets you didn't share with them), they upgrade independently.
