When your bank won't connect,
capture the page instead

You're already logged in. Click wlthy Snap, crop the balances you want, black out anything private, and send it. wlthy's AI reads the numbers — and nothing enters your ledger until you confirm it.

Included on every plan · read-only · no page scraping

The gap every tracker has

Aggregators cover the big retail banks well. Then you hold an account at a private bank in Geneva, a regional bank in Anatolia, or a broker with no public API — and the connection simply isn't there. It never will be. So the balance gets typed into a spreadsheet once, and three months later the number is stale. Snap closes that gap without asking the bank for anything.

You choose what leaves the browser

Snap opens an editor before anything is sent. Drag to crop the balances you want, black out your name, address, account numbers or an advisor's message. Only the pixels you keep ever leave the page — the redaction is burned into the image, not layered over it.

A picture, not your page's code

Snap reads a screenshot you take. It has no content scripts, no DOM access, and cannot see cookies or credentials. Scrapers need deep page access and break when a bank redesigns a table; a picture never does.

Read-only by design

The extension can only stage an import for your review. It cannot move money, change a setting, or create an asset on its own. Every call lands in your audit log, and revoking the token in Settings stops it instantly.

Nothing lands until you confirm

The capture goes into the same review-and-reconcile flow as a broker statement. wlthy's AI reads the balances, shows you a preview, and diffs against what you already hold. You approve line by line.

How it works

  1. 1Pair it onceCreate a Snap token in wlthy → Settings → wlthy Snap and paste it into the extension.
  2. 2Open the account pageLog into your bank or broker as you normally would. Snap does nothing until you click the icon.
  3. 3Crop and hideDrag to keep the balances. Switch to Hide to black out your name, address, or any private message.
  4. 4Review in wlthyThe AI reads the holdings and stages them. You confirm what gets imported — line by line.

What Snap can never do

  • Read a bank page's code, cookies, or credentials.
  • Run on any site until you click the toolbar icon.
  • Move money, change a setting, or create an asset on its own.
  • Send anything you cropped out or blacked out.

Frequently asked questions

Which plans include wlthy Snap?

Every paid plan. Snap uses a dedicated Snap token you create in Settings → wlthy Snap, and each capture spends one AI call from your plan's monthly budget (White 10, Gray 25, Black 100). Ledger access for AI agents like Claude and ChatGPT via MCP remains a Black feature — that is a separate capability.

Does wlthy Snap read my bank's website?

No. It declares no content scripts and holds no permission for any bank domain, so it cannot read the page's code, cookies, or credentials. It captures the visible tab as an image only when you click the toolbar icon, and its single host permission is wlthy.io — where your own capture is sent.

What happens to the screenshot?

It is held in your browser's session memory while you crop and redact — never written to disk — then sent over HTTPS to your own wlthy account and staged as an import for review. The staged import is removed once you confirm or cancel it.

Why not just connect my bank automatically?

For most large retail banks, wlthy already imports statements and exports directly. Snap exists for the accounts no aggregator reaches: private banks, regional banks, and brokers with no public API. Those institutions are unlikely to ever ship a connection, and for many wlthy customers that is where the largest positions sit.

Can it work on any website?

It can capture whatever tab you are viewing when you click the icon, but it only does anything useful with a page showing balances or holdings. It never runs on its own — no background capture, no scheduled sync, nothing on page load.
